Digital PCR kits for absolute quantification of rare mutations
LightMix® Digital kits are ready-to-use digital PCR kits for the detection and absolute quantification of low-abundance targets, including rare mutations. Using digital PCR technology, these assays enable precise target analysis through sample partitioning and end-point detection. Each kit includes a positive control.
Developed by TIB MOLBIOL in collaboration with Roche, the LightMix® Digital portfolio includes digital PCR assays for selected oncogenic mutations, including targets in BRAF, EGFR, KRAS and BCR-ABL. The kits are designed for oncology research, particularly where rare mutation analysis, sensitive target quantification, and reliable research test setup are required.
When used with Roche Digital LightCycler® Systems, samples are partitioned into thousands of individual reactions, such as 20k, 28k, or 100k partitions. This assay workflow enables absolute quantification without the need for standard curves.
