Ready-to-use PCR kits

LightMix® Kits are ready-to-use PCR kits for the detection of pathogens and selected genetic variants using real-time PCR. Available in singleplex and multiplex assay formats, they cover a range of targets for molecular testing.

Developed by TIB MOLBIOL in Berlin and distributed globally, the test kits are optimized for use with Roche LightCycler® instruments. Each kit includes a positive control.

LightMix® Kits (CE-IVD) for in-vitro diagnostics

Designed for routine molecular diagnostics, LightMix® Kits (CE-IVD) provide ready-to-use real-time PCR assays for clinically relevant targets, with straightforward setup and integration into established laboratory workflows.
Depending on the assay, the kits detect specific pathogen targets or genetic variants by targeting different genes or defined regions within a single gene.
LightMix® Kits (CE-IVD) cover key areas of molecular diagnostics, including infectious diseases, human genetics, and oncology. Applications in human genetics include the analysis of inherited genetic disorders and single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs).

For research applications, the LightMix® product line also includes RUO kits for the detection of pathogens and specific genetic variations. These kits are intended for research use only and are not for in-vitro diagnostic use.
